Unless, of course, Mr. Harris, you consider them all to be different aspects of the same Godhead, revealed only partially to us through the ages as we would attempt to reveal ourselves to an ant. Unless, of course, Mr. Harris, there is more to the story of Reality than just a Creator, such as angels and other emissaries of a nonphysical world that have their own wills and intellects. Unless, of course, Mr. Harris, your statement has little to do with the truth value of a God existing and more to do with an appeal to the Argumentum ad Populum Fallacy, by which the dominance of belief is used in an attempt to “prove” or “disprove” a statement.
There are very few atheists that hold my deep and unflinching respect – but those who do are willing to avoid such sloppy thinking as this. Sam Harris fits right in with popular thinking today that values rhetoric over truth. In a perfect world, atheism would be strong, in actually facing the questions posed. On the other hand, in a perfect world, Christianity would be strong as well – but most Christians are either unwilling to or incapable of rational argumentation, and too often Christians pretend messages must be diluted to fit the new secular world…
