- Dietrich von Hildebrand’s wife attempts to utilize the late theologian’s Theology of the Body to strike down some dissenter. Problem is, I don’t agree with half of the things she says either, nor are you required to in order to remain Catholic. For example, she is right about sodomy. She is right about sex having much more value than our culture gives it now, and she is right about a lot of other things But she is not necessarily right about the Virgin Mary’s placental ejection, the traditional foundation against birth control, and a few other things pertaining to “veiling” sex. West does sound like a bit of an idiot, though…
