Good question. In the “Meet Me Halfway” page above you can find lots of books. But specifically, to begin the journey? Economically “How an Economy Grows and Why It Crashes”; politically/generally “Rollback” or “The Revolution”. Before getting to anything, I was a Friedmanite (Chicago School), knew I hated Objectivism (Rand), and read lots of Tom Sowell. He is a good introduction to “whoa, there is more to economics/society than sociological emotive response.”
Do you follow a particular subset of libertarianism?
Probably anarcho-capitalism, agorism, or something similar.
Do you have a preferred book on the subject?
