You do not need to believe that there is a plan to pull the wool over the people’s eyes to understand that the government is inefficient at what it does, and that for every inefficiency that it has within its own ranks, some seeps into the market to the detriment of all.
Cars are a great example. The EPA has set standards on emissions that limit the amount of pollutants per gallon. In Europe, those limits (where they exist) are based on MPG. The mistaken EPA policies in the US push our cars’ gas mileage down to levels far below our allies across the sea, even when some of the cars they use are made here:
Unfortunately, the man is correct. You can head over to the VW UK website and do it yourself. Incredible inefficiency… On the other hand, what some may call inefficiency may truly be simple stupidity.
