Be Optimistic, Libertarians!
The first question, to a regulator is not “how can I help my constituents?” The first question is always “how can I further Will to Power and the Master Class Morality?” This has been increasingly clear in recent years, where many of the laws made do not apply to the congressional class (Obamacare, for example), but consolidate vast amounts of power in the hands of the state and its cronies.
Dianne Feinstein is one of the best at playing this game. Her latest power grab is the First Amendment which she believes is a “special privilege.” How special? Special enough that you can be prosecuted for “press leaks” if you are not a part of the cartel-ized 4th branch of the US government known as the mainstream media:
How laws like this stand is beyond me. Democracy really is the people knowing what they want and getting it good and hard. Forget the slippery slope. Consider this the end of the 1st Amendment.
