Science & Government Funding
First, the NSA UBERLIST, an aggregate of the major NSA breaking news.
A smattering:
- There may be hope to limit the power of the NSA, but I doubt it. The true power to limit the organization will come with the dawn of the quantum computer.
- The iPhone 5S fingerprint database will be shared with the NSA.
- The latest Wikileaks dump is communications, emails, and other documents pertaining to private contractors and government colluding to create the largest surveillance state on the face of the planet.
- Apple (excuse my skepticism that the company does not give every password and vault to the government when requested) could be destroying your 5th Amendment right against self-incrimination with the new iPhone authentication.
- 500 retweets or 5,000 pageviews now may get you prison time in China.
- I don’t think there is anything out of the ordinary concerning the recent shooting in D.C. But it has caused discussion about the mind control experiments the government has supported in the past, and as this 2008 article explains, beaming psychosis into your head is a possibility. Recent research has allowed scientists to beam an image or thought into a patient’s head…
- The Scientific American has come out in favor of GMO crops. I believe I am 75% in agreement here, but have yet to be fully convinced…
- Copper may be the culprit in Alzheimer’s.
