- Richard Epstein had a great WSJ article last week about the coercive measures of the new healthcare plan. Essentially, insurance is no longer insurance. It is government-mandated private charity… The sad part is, the constitutionality of such a plan can be surprisingly now possibly be justified under the welfare clause, which is being expanded to mean anything and everything the feds want it to mean. It will ultimately come down to a 5-4 decision in the Supreme Court to defeat it, which is crazy to me…
- The Democrats must be in need of votes, because many are seeking to allow felons to vote, in order to “give minorities a stronger voice.”
- How to brainwash a nation. It’s a bit extreme, but I can see faint traces of similar tactics to this being used by our elected officials on both sides of the fence…
- Just Detention International is a group seeking to end sexual abuse in the prison system. I hope that is something everyone can stand for…
