Edge of the Financial Cliff
Old news: the NYT is a puppet of the CIA. The fourth branch of government in this country is our media. In contrast to the principle of checks and balances upon which the other branches were founded (that worked well), this branch has one job and one job only: push public opinion to support interventions of all kinds, especially those against their own interest. And it is working well, as 95% of voters will be voting for men who have negligible differences, both supporting torture, the death penalty, abortion, extraordinary rendition, extrajudicial assassination, etc. etc. etc…
Nothing to see here. Business as usual.
