Be Optimistic, Libertarians!
It appears an immanent war with Syria has been averted – for now. This is an economic, moral, and political win for the entire world. The guys we were supporting are monsters, and the civilian casualties as a result of attacks committed by Obama’s drone strikes in the past several years outnumber those allegedly gassed by Syria 3 to 1. The mainstream media has been caught faking news coverage of Syrian atrocities more than once, showing the media’s willingness to engage in deception to have the president’s will done.
A serious question needs to be answered: Is the US the world policeman or just the schoolyard bully (or are the two the same thing)?
