I know how much I fawn over this guy, but the truth is, he deserves it. Not only is Washington filled with thieves and liars today, among which he almost hates to be seen, but his ideas are refreshing, original, intellectually satisfying, and true. This man deserves applause, and getting him into the White House might be the single biggest possible way to change the future for the better. People said the same about Obama, sure, but if you looked closely, you could see that The One was a politician. Ron Paul has been doing this for 30 years, saying things that people formerly thought were crackpot ideas, and consistently lonely on nearly every issue. He has my vote, and is only a tiny window of chance for the sun not to set permanently on this country.
Now comes the get. I believe Ron Paul espouses a more moral, religiously-compatible, honest and effective form of politics – specifically because he believes all of the above deserve YOUR choices and individual values, not those of some bureaucrat. I urge you today to take some time, go to OnTheIssues and examine his record, and do some research about his ideas. If you hear him say something you don’t like at first glance, seek out why he said what he did, and seek it to the very base elements of his belief. Go to youtube. Read his words. I promise you his views are far more true than anyone else running, and the nuance he espouses on many things is borne of a serious scholar, the likes of which politics may never have seen perhaps ever. He cannot be bought by lobbyists, and the power he has gained has never been as a result of sacrificing his values. No one else in Washington can claim both of these things simultaneously. Most can’t even claim one. Look at his track record compared to other Republican and Democratic candidates. He is more anti-war than any Democrat. He is more pro-economy than any Republican. His record speaks for itself, and you have over 30 years of it to examine. Do the right thing. Think Ron Paul. He deserves a chance. We deserve him having a chance. His election will change the future, if only to ensure this country continues as we know it (or even better!) into the future…
The enthusiasm is growing, and it will only continue, even though the media promises he can never win:
Paul is the only one in government who refuses to play the left/right game of illusion that politicians do every day in the Congress. The country deserves more than to be treated like a cheap production:
His economic understanding is far above anyone else in Congress, even surpassing the economists entrusted with running the country’s economy, and has been damn-near prophetic in some cases:
Think Ron Paul 2012!
