Book Review: Papal Teaching on Private Property – 1891 to 1981

Purposefully ambiguous, the new movie Calvary shows the challenging journey of a priest in a small town in Catholic-hostile Ireland. I found the movie to be one of the most Catholic I have ever seen, while possessing a beauty rarely surpassed even in well-done films today. Here is the contrast between the Catholic and everyman, here is the problem of evil and the Long Defeat. A bit more can be found here.
Go see it.
I have this in my Netflix queue bu it’s apparently not available yet. It’s not in theaters is it?
Another movie by the same director and with the same featured actor is “The Guard”, which is an excellent action/comedy/police drama.
The movie should be in theaters. It was recently in theaters in Europe.
Thanks for the suggestion.
