I have long wondered why an increase by a few degrees would not increase biodiversity around the world, based on the fact that the tropics have a far higher diversity and concentration of plants and animals than the arctics. If global warming is true (and anthropogenic, or not), it might be a boon to life, not a danger to it. A new study suggests this could be true.
